My Very Own Google Map Mash Up

Edit: I had to move the Google Map HERE because it wasn’t playing fairly with the rest of the scripts in the blog. Sorry for the unformatted page - but hey it works (as far as I can tell it is not having the same problems as before).
So it’s not very good - the map doesn’t quite load right and I am not technologically savvy enough to include all the info in the overlays but still - I built it.If you click on the ‘Where in Spain is Mom?’ link above (at the top of the main page) it will unhide a Google map mashup that I built. Unfortunately, it doesn’t load the map quite right immediately so click ‘Go to Spain’ to center the map and see the ‘polyline’ overlay of my Mom’s path on the Camino de Santiago. You can click on each of the way points on the list and a map point with information overlay will appear. The info overlay includes the latitude and longitude, place name and a link to my Mom’s blog (hmm wonder how that will work out on technorati?).
Anyway, it was fun to build (frustrating too) so if anyone has any suggestions on how to solve the render issue or thoughts on improvement - I’d appreciate it.

Very nice, but couldn’t see the start. Is there some way to move the location list?
thanks Anon…
I’ve got some kinks in the CSS styling for the page layout, so depending on your screen resolution, the menu may end up in unexpected places.
