Not Ready for Prime Time (Yet)

Found this site via the MS Live.com beta technology feed. the folks at iRows are developing an online spreadsheet app. Nice features (or features that will be nice) include MS Excel compatability and the ability to easily share interactive spreadsheets on other websites.

It is currently very limited and they have obviously encountered the same charting issues that most programs run in to.

However, this seems to be a great idea (I don’t what their business model is unless it’s to be acquired) - if they can make it feature rich and develop an extensible API that let’s it work with web analytics providers then they’ve really got something that I’d be interested in working with.

The charting tools are very limited at this point so you can’t really do anything to optimize the chart (as above) for quick understanding.

Note: I wasn’t aware that Blogger doesn’t allow external scripts so I can’t show you the interactive version.
